The Guardian of the Minor will complete the following process on their behalf.
- Go to www.orbvest.com.
- Register with the minor’s unique email address.
- Complete basic information:
- First and Last name
- Phone number
-Email address
-Password
-Confirm Password
- Select Investor Status
-US Citizen
-International
- Agree to OrbVest Terms and Conditions.
- Register
- You will receive an email verification link (please check your junk mail as well).
- Confirm your email address.
- Log In
- Go to DASHBOARD:
- On top right-hand corner of your screen, there is a drop-down. Choose “My Profile”.
- Complete information including banking details and upload the following documentation:
- Certified Identity Document: Certified copy of minor’s unabridged birth certificate.
- Completed and signed Minor Statement signed by the legal guardian.
- Certified copy of Guardian’s passport/South African green bar-coded Identity book not older than 10 years, or ID card (back & front).
- A copy of the Guardian’s proof of residence not older than 3 months (Please see What is acceptable proof of address documents for KYC)
- Proof of bank account for minor / guardian
- Due Diligence form to be completed (by the guardian if need be)
As there is only space to upload 2 documents per individual profile, please combine documents 1 & 2, then upload it under “Proof of ID”. Combine documents 3 & 4, then upload it under “Proof of address”.
